Your Questions Answered | What is the criteria for entry into Providence Cliff? Residents are able to complete daily personal care routines unaided, such as dressing, walking to the dining room and activity areas. Help is available for showering, a list of personal care aides is available on request. Are there any entry fees or security deposits to pay? No, there are none. One months rent is payable on entry. One months notice is required on departure if possible. Are rates covered by Medicare or Mass Health? No, we are a private home. Our rates are reasonable enough for most seniors to be able to afford. Can I bring some of my own furniture? Sure you can. All our rooms are nicely furnished but it's always nice to have your own treasures around you. Can I have a refrigerator in my room? Yes, many residents like to keep a small college sized refrigerator in their room for snacks and fruit. Can I have my own t.v. and telephone in my room? Absolutely. Television lounges are available and so is a telephone but it's always nice to be independent. Is there a hairdresser or barber available? Residents may choose to use our in house hair stylist/ manicurist/pedicurist who visits weekly, or use the Senior Transport to visit the salon of their choice. Are there any group activities? Bingo, pokeno, crafts, visiting entertainment and our own unique "Elder Exercise Class" are some of our regular activities. Our home is very active and lively. What about religious services? Services of all denominations are held weekly in our own little chapel. What if I become too ill or frail to live at Providence Cliff? We have strong alliances with several nursing homes in the area and will help you with a smooth and timely transfer. |
